Quick Word from Pastor Rob
Today the sun is shining brightly. That makes me think of the sunshine I have in my life.
I have the Lord. My personal testimony goes all the way back to when I was a child. My parents were both saved in a small church and not too long afterward I was also saved. What has followed has been a life of faith with the Lord always in my heart and at my side.
I have a great family. God has blessed me with a wonderful wife, three children, and three grandchildren. They love me and I love them. Then there is the rest of my family on both my side and my wife’s side. They love me and I love them.
I have a great church. I was fortunate to be raised in a good church and to be taught about the importance of the church. All the churches I have attended in my life have been a blessing. Today I call Plainedge Church my home and I wouldn’t trade it for any other. I thank God for my church.
I have a great job. In June I will have completed 47 years in the ministry with over 42 of those years in New York. It seems too fantastic to believe but it’s true. Through it all God has supplied all of my need according to His riches in glory. He also has given me memories, experiences, and blessings.
I have today. Proverbs 27:1 tells us: “Do not boast about tomorrow for you do not know what a day may bring forth”. Today the sun is shining brightly.
